We will always look for ways to improve the energy performance of our customers’ properties, partly to save them money on fuel costs, partly to make commercial or rental properties easier to let, but mostly to ‘future proof’ our work as far as possible.
The design and build of new commercial and residential properties now follows fairly well charted paths and is required to conform to strict legislation, but the existing build environment in the UK is a very different story. Even houses built less than 30 years ago often no longer conform to modern standards and the majority of the residential and commercial property in Britain is far older than that. There is a pressing need for companies with the skills and resources to tackle this problem efficiently and cost-effectively.
